Israeli authorities today ordered stop on the construction of four Palestinian houses in Kisan village, east of the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem, and closed a number of roads in Yatta village in Hebron.
The head of the office of Wall and Settlement Committe in the Bethlehem Governorate, Hassan Brijeh, told SAFA that Israeli authorities handed four Palestinians orders to stop the construction of their houses, using the pretext of building without a permit.
Brijeh added that the notified houses have been built for a long time; however, Israel has been targeting the town of Kisan in an attempt to force its people to leave.
For his part, the coordinator of the Committee of the Protection and Resistence of the Mountains of South Hebron and Mussafer Yatta, Fuad Al-Amor, said to SAFA that the Israeli forces closed several agricultural roads east of Yatta town, south of Hebron, and set up military checkpoints.
