Escalation Continues in Northern Gaza: Airstrikes Target Homes, Dozens of Victims Reported

Israeli occupation forces have continued their violent escalation in Gaza, launching multiple deadly attacks that have resulted in dozens of new victims. At the same time, the Israeli occupation military has intensified its ground assault on northern Gaza following a renewed request to evacuate Kamal Adwan Hospital.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed that Israeli occupation forces carried out four massacres against families, with 32 martyrs and 54 injuries reported in the past 24 hours. The total death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression has now reached 45,259 martyrs and 107,627 injured since October 7, 2023.

In northern Gaza, Israeli occupation forces pressed on with their ground operations in the areas of Jabalia Camp and Beit Lahiya, with Israeli tanks shelling multiple buildings. The forces also sought to conceal their movements by indiscriminately firing heavy rounds and launching smoke bombs. Explosions were heard as Israeli occupation forces demolished buildings in Jabalia, while areas of Jabalia Nazla, surrounding Beit Lahiya, and Beit Hanoun came under heavy artillery fire.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces maintained their siege on northern Gaza’s hospitals, targeting Kamal Adwan Hospital once again after demanding the evacuation of medical staff and patients. The hospital, one of the key medical facilities in the northern region, has been operating with limited resources due to the blockade preventing aid convoys from reaching it. The surrounding areas were also hit, with an explosive robot targeting the area and additional buildings being demolished.

Israeli occupation forces also continued their bombardment of the northeastern parts of Gaza City, near the ground invasion routes in northern Gaza. The neighbourhoods of Al-Safafi and Al-Sudaniya came under heavy shelling, while Israeli drones fired on targets in the northern part of Sheikh Radwan. Violent attacks were also reported in the southeast of the city, with artillery strikes hitting the Zeitoun area and other parts of the region.

Simultaneously, the Israeli occupation military launched multiple intense attacks on the central Gaza Strip, primarily targeting areas on the edges of the ground invasion zones. Residents of Al-Nuseirat camp reported renewed airstrikes on the Dawah and Mufti neighbourhoods, along with artillery bombardment and gunfire from the advancing Israeli occupation forces. Israeli drones conducted intensive reconnaissance flights over these areas, firing at civilian gatherings.

The eastern borders of Al-Bureij camp, where Israeli occupation forces had previously ordered the forced displacement of residents, witnessed several airstrikes. Ground forces also opened fire on homes along the borders of Al-Maghazi camp, escalating pressure on civilians in these areas.
