Three Palestinian Infants Die in Gaza Due to Severe Cold

Three Palestinian infants in Gaza were martyred on Thursday morning as a result of extreme cold temperatures over the past 48 hours. According to medical sources, the ages of the newborn martyrs ranged from 4 to 21 days. Food insecurity among mothers has been highlighted as a contributing factor to worsening health conditions among infants.

Ninety percent of Gaza's population has been enduring dire conditions for the second consecutive year, with many residing in makeshift tents across the Strip. Nights are as unbearable as the days, with no access to water, food, medicine, or heating to shield them from the harsh winter cold.

Since October 7, 2023, with U.S. support, the Israeli occupation has been waging a devastating campaign against Gaza. This has resulted in over 153,000 martyrs and injured individuals, with approximately 11,000 still missing. The ongoing assault has obliterated infrastructure, caused widespread famine, and claimed the lives of countless children and elderly, creating one of the worst humanitarian crises in modern history.

Thousands remain trapped under rubble due to relentless bombardment and unsafe rescue conditions. Meanwhile, the suffocating blockade on Gaza continues, with strict restrictions on fuel and vital emergency aid, further exacerbating the catastrophic humanitarian situation.
