The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor has unveiled disturbing testimonies of war crimes allegedly committed by Israeli occupation forces during their assault on Kamal Adwan Hospital and surrounding areas in northern Gaza on Friday. Palestinians accuse the forces of deliberate killings, summary executions, and assaults on women and girls, including medical workers and displaced civilians, as part of a systematic campaign against Gaza’s population.
In a statement on Saturday, the organisation described how the Israeli occupation imposed a suffocating siege and relentless bombardment on the hospital before launching the raid. Key medical services were reportedly crippled by attacks on power generators and oxygen systems. Explosive-laden robots were used in nearby residential areas, causing buildings to collapse and killing entire families trapped inside.
Survivors shared harrowing accounts of physical assaults, sexual harassment, and public humiliation, particularly targeting Palestinian women and girls. Some were forced to remove clothing under duress, while others endured verbal abuse and violence. Witnesses have called for immediate international intervention, describing the events as crimes against humanity.
The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor criticised the international community’s failure to act, holding it complicit in Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza. The organisation called for an immediate halt to these crimes, accountability for perpetrators, and a comprehensive arms embargo on Israel. It further demanded the safe return of displaced Palestinians, reparations for victims, and unrestricted access to humanitarian aid for Gaza’s civilians.
