The Israeli occupation forces have ordered the management of Al-Awda Hospital in northern Gaza to evacuate immediately, threatening to bomb the hospital with everyone inside. The hospital’s administration confirmed that two medical staff members were injured as a result of the occupation’s bombing of the emergency and reception department earlier.

The occupation has also destroyed the hospital’s oxygen and electricity stations, rendering it unable to provide any medical services. Additionally, patients were transferred to Al-Awda Hospital after the destruction of Kamal Adwan Hospital, which was demolished due to Israeli airstrikes earlier.

Since the start of the genocidal war on October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation has been systematically targeting hospitals and medical facilities in Gaza, surrounding them, bombing them, and preventing the entry of medical supplies. These attacks are part of the occupation’s plan to destroy the healthcare system and forcibly displace the population from northern Gaza, in an attempt to empty the area of its inhabitants.
