Thousands of demonstrators gathered outside the British Parliament on Monday to protest the ongoing genocidal war in Gaza and show solidarity with Palestine.
The protest was organized by the Palestinian Forum in Britain (PFB) in collaboration with prominent groups, including the Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC), Stop the War Coalition (STW), Muslim Association of Britain (MAB), Friends of Al-Aqsa (FOA), and the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND).
Protesters called on Members of Parliament to take urgent action to protect Gaza’s healthcare workers and medical facilities, which have been severely impacted by escalating attacks from the Israeli occupation, according to the event’s organizers.
The protest comes amid growing international outrage over the destruction and displacement caused by the Israeli occupation’s actions in Gaza, widely condemned as acts of genocide. Recent demonstrations across Europe have echoed similar demands, with activists emphasizing the urgent need for international intervention to halt the atrocities and ensure accountability.
This ongoing wave of protests highlights the deepening global solidarity with the Palestinian people and the increasing pressure on governments to address the catastrophic humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
