Palestinian Sources: Israel Dismantles Military Sites in Gaza as Ceasefire Nears

Gaza: Palestinian sources say the IDF has started removing military sites in the "Netzarim" area in central Gaza. This step is seen by some as preparation for a possible ceasefire agreement with Hamas.

Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli military vehicles entered the strategic area, which divides Gaza into northern and southern parts, and began dismantling watchtowers and other structures. They also mentioned that observation towers in Nuseirat refugee camp have already been taken down. However, the IDF has not made an official statement about these actions.

Meanwhile, Qatar announced that Israel and Hamas are very close to reaching a ceasefire agreement and an exchange of prisoners.

Hamas stated that its leaders have been holding talks with other Palestinian groups, who welcomed the progress in negotiations. The group confirmed that discussions are in their final stages, with mediators working to finalize an official deal.
