Erdoğan promises to utilize Turkish resources to heal Gaza's wounds.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan confirmed that his country will utilize all its resources to heal the wounds in the Gaza Strip during the ceasefire period.

Commenting on the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, Erdoğan said in a speech at a Justice and Development Party event in Adana, southern Turkey, on Saturday, that the Israeli occupation authorities have not been able to break the will of resistance of our brothers in Gaza despite the genocide and massacres over 467 days.

He added, "On behalf of my country, my people, and our party, the Justice and Development Party, I salute our brothers in Gaza again."

Erdoğan pointed out that the occupation, especially the government of Benjamin Netanyahu, has a long record of violating ceasefires, and continued, "But we must not allow that this time."

He noted that Turkey will continue its struggle to hold accountable the perpetrators of war crimes and crimes against humanity against the Palestinians, one by one.

The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Saturday that the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip will begin at 8:30 AM local time on Sunday. The American network CNN reported that negotiations for the second and third phases of the ceasefire will begin on the 16th day of implementing the agreement.

The Netanyahu government has approved the prisoner exchange and ceasefire deal in Gaza, with Israeli media reporting that 24 ministers in the government supported the agreement, while 8 ministers opposed it.
