Mother of Released Israeli Prisoner: Her Health is Better Than Expected

The mother of released Israeli prisoner Emily Dimari stated that her health is much better than expected after her release following 469 days in captivity.

Emily, the only British national held in Gaza, was captured on October 7, 2023, during the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation.

She was released along with two other female prisoners as part of the first phase of a prisoner exchange deal.

Israeli media reported that the three appeared in good condition and received commemorative gifts from Hamas, including a map of Gaza and photos from their time in captivity. The incident has drawn attention to Hamas’s reported humane treatment of prisoners during their detention.
