The Occupation Attacks Near the Philadelphi and Netzarim Corridors in Gaza

The occupation renewed gunfire at Tel al-Sultan neighborhood near the Philadelphi Corridor in Rafah, forcing residents who had returned to set up tents on the ruins of their homes to leave again, fearing further escalation. The occupation also demolished new homes in the Saudi neighborhood and the Netzarim Corridor in preparation for its withdrawal.

Rescue teams continued to retrieve the bodies of martyrs from under the rubble, including two Hamas leaders, Ruhi Mushtaha and Sami Awda, who were killed during the war.

Displaced residents are struggling with harsh conditions as rain has flooded their tents. Humanitarian aid has arrived through the Kerem Shalom crossing to ease the severe food shortages.

The International Committee of the Red Cross warned of the dangers of unexploded mines and remnants of war in areas previously occupied by the army, posing a threat to returning families.
