The Israeli occupation soldiers shot and seriously wounded a Palestinian youth, on Wednesday afternoon, at the "Al-Zaeem" checkpoint near occupied Jerusalem, Hebrew media reported.

The seventh Hebrew Channel claimed that the Israeli soldiers targeted the Palestinian for attempting to run over them, without indicating that there were any casualties among the Israeli forces.

Eyewitnesses reported that the Israeli soldiers shot at the Palestinian youth while passing through "Al-Zaeem" checkpoint, then closed the checkpoint and did not allow anyone to access.
