The Al-Quds Brigades – Jenin Battalion announced today, Thursday, that it had inflicted casualties, both dead and wounded, on an Israeli force by detonating a booby-trapped house in Jenin refugee camp in the northern West Bank.

In a statement on Telegram, the battalion said it had lured a force from the Golani Brigade into the house and then detonated it as part of what it described as a “complex engineering operation.”

The Jenin Battalion stated: “We have inflicted casualties on a Zionist force, killing and wounding some of them, by detonating a booby-trapped house that we lured them into inside Jenin camp.”

The statement confirmed that the explosive devices used in the operation had been seized by resistance fighters from Israeli occupation forces during the ongoing military operation that has lasted for days.

The Al-Quds Brigades – Jenin Battalion said the bombing was carried out in response to what it described as the “cowardly assassination operation” that took place on Wednesday evening in the town of Tammun near Tubas, which resulted in the martyrdom of 10 resistance fighters from the Brigades and Al-Qassam.

The statement also mentioned that the detonation of the booby-trapped house came after what it called the “ridiculous display” by Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz yesterday and the so-called “victory” he declared in the alleys of Jenin refugee camp.
