ءThe Palestinian Hamas movement announced on Thursday the death of leader Muhammad Deif, along with several other leaders, without revealing the timing of their deaths.

In a statement, Hamas confirmed that Muhammad Deif, the commander of its military wing, and several other military leaders were killed.

Earlier media reports had indicated Deif's death, but this is the first official acknowledgment from Hamas.
