Five Palestinians Killed by Israeli Fire in the West Bank

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Saturday evening that five Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire in the northern occupied West Bank.

The ministry stated that an Israeli airstrike on the village of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, claimed the lives of two citizens, while another strike on an eastern neighborhood of Jenin resulted in the deaths of three more individuals, including a 16-year-old boy.

The Israeli forces said it carried out an airstrike targeting armed individuals in the northern West Bank but did not provide further details.

The rising death toll comes as an Israeli "military operation" in the Jenin refugee camp—considered a stronghold of Palestinian activity—nears its second week.

Earlier, the Israeli forces reported that the "operation" had led to the deaths of at least 18 Palestinians in the camp, including a two-year-old girl.
