Freed Prisoners of "Toofan al-Aqsa" Express Gratitude to Gaza and Hamas

The freed Palestinian prisoners exiled to Egypt expressed deep gratitude for the sacrifices of Gaza’s people and the efforts of Hamas and the resistance in securing their release as part of the "Toofan al-Ahrar" exchange deal.

During a phone call with Hamas leader Zaher Jabarin, head of the martyrs, wounded, and prisoners’ office, the released prisoners praised the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and resistance.

Raed Al-Shafee, a freed prisoner from Tulkarm who spent 23 years in Israeli detention, described his release as an honor, attributing it to the resilience of Gaza and the resistance. He expressed deep appreciation for Hamas and all those who contributed to their freedom, acknowledging the immense sacrifices made.

Ayman Ja'im, another freed prisoner from Tulkarm who spent 22 and a half years in prison, emphasized that without the resistance's armed struggle, the prisoners would have never been released. He stressed that "Toofan al-Aqsa" proved the legitimacy of resistance and called for unity behind it.

Hamas leader Zaher Jabarin highlighted the thousands of martyrs sacrificed in the ongoing struggle, mentioning prominent fallen leaders like Ismail Haniyeh, Saleh Al-Arouri, Yehya Sinwar, and Mohammed Deif. He reaffirmed Hamas' commitment to securing the freedom of all prisoners, ensuring that the exchange deal included individuals from all Palestinian factions.

Jabarin concluded by sending greetings to all prisoners, renewing Hamas’ pledge to continue the struggle until all Palestinian detainees achieve freedom.
