The Occupation Escalates Aggression in the Northern West Bank

The Israeli occupation forces continues its aggression on Jenin refugee camp for the 14th consecutive day and on Tulkarm for the 8th day. Meanwhile, clashes erupted between Palestinian resistance fighters and occupation forces in the town of Tammun, south of Tubas. The newly appointed Israeli Chief of Staff has also threatened Palestinians with annihilation.

In Jenin, Israeli forces demolished four residential neighborhoods in the refugee camp, blowing up buildings in the Dammj, Hawashin, and Mahyoub Street areas, as well as near Al-Asir Mosque. This coincided with the occupation's announcement of expanding its military operations in the northern West Bank.

Additionally, occupation forces informed the father of Qusay that they intended to bomb their three-story house in the eastern neighborhood of the city unless his son surrendered, claiming he was wanted by the Israeli forces.

For its part, the Jenin Battalion of Saraya Al-Quds confirmed that its fighters in the Silat Al-Harithiya unit detonated a roadside explosive device targeting an Israeli military vehicle that had stormed the town.

Meanwhile, residents of Jenin city and refugee camp began the funeral processions for seven martyrs killed by Israeli forces during their ongoing incursion into the city and camp over the past two weeks.

Since January 21, the Israeli army has launched a military operation in Jenin and its refugee camp, resulting in the martyrdom of 25 Palestinians as of Sunday morning. The occupation further escalated its aggression last Monday.

In Tulkarm, the Israeli army continues its military operation in the city and its refugee camps for the eighth consecutive day, with widespread military deployment across different areas.

Additionally, local sources reported that on Sunday evening, Israeli forces carried out a wave of arrests as part of their military operations in the town of Tammun.
