Israel’s Deliberate Policy of Slow Killing in Gaza

The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor has warned that Israel is imposing catastrophic living conditions on Palestinians in Gaza, depriving them of basic necessities in what it describes as "the crime of genocide." Beyond widespread killing and destruction, Israel continues to enforce policies that gradually lead to civilian deaths through restricted access to food, healthcare, and essential services.

Since the ceasefire, at least 110 Palestinians have died, with an average of six deaths per day. Thousands remain missing under the rubble, as Israel delays the entry of recovery equipment. The healthcare crisis worsens as Israel blocks medical evacuations and prevents the rehabilitation of hospitals, denying entry to critical supplies. Meanwhile, the destruction of homes and infrastructure, coupled with restrictions on shelter and reconstruction materials, has left hundreds of thousands displaced in dire conditions.

The looming threat of famine further compounds the crisis, as Israel’s blockade prevents food production and access to vital goods. With dwindling food supplies, families are on the brink of starvation.

The Euro-Mediterranean Monitor has called for urgent international intervention, warning that Israel’s policies amount to genocide. It demands immediate action to hold Israel accountable and deliver life-saving aid before the situation deteriorates further.
