Israeli forces have completely destroyed the Jenin refugee camp, displacing over 20,000 Palestinians, according to Mansour Al-Saadi, assistant governor of Jenin. He described the mass displacement as part of a systematic effort to erase the refugee cause, with families forced to flee without their belongings or documents.
For 20 consecutive days, Israeli forces have imposed a devastating siege, demolishing homes, infrastructure, and livelihoods. Testimonies confirm that Jenin has suffered the largest displacement in the ongoing assault on the northern West Bank, with nearly 90% of its residents driven out amid gunfire and destruction.
Al-Saadi urged international legal bodies to document the extent of the catastrophe, warning that bodies of martyrs and wounded individuals may still lie beneath the rubble. Local sources report that at least 100 homes have been levelled, while vital services, including water and electricity, have been deliberately targeted.
