Prisoners' Media Source: Israel Attempts to Assassinate Leaders in Prisons Before Their Release

A source from the Prisoners, Wounded, and Martyrs Media Office reported that Israeli authorities are systematically abusing Palestinian prisoner leaders, aiming to assassinate some before their release.

The source stated that Israeli forces have severely beaten several prominent figures, including Mohammad Arman, former head of Hamas in Israeli prisons, and Nael Barghouthi, the longest-serving Palestinian prisoner.

Additionally, the source revealed that freed leader Jamal Al-Tawil was brutally assaulted after leaving the prison gate and before reaching the transport buses, leading to his immediate hospitalization in critical condition upon release.

The objective of such abuse, the source claimed, is to weaken prisoners’ health to the point of causing their deaths indirectly.

The source urged  international and human rights organizations to monitor and report on prisoners' conditions, especially as the Palestinian resistance adheres to ethical principles, ensuring the humane treatment of Israeli prisoners.
