Yesterday, a citizen was martyred by Israeli sniper fire in Gaza’s Shujaiya neighbourhood, while 20 others were injured due to gunfire from Israeli vehicles, cranes, and drones targeting various areas. A drone attack in Rafah critically injured two young men, who were rushed to the European Gaza Hospital.
Sporadic gunfire from occupation forces targeted citizens attempting to reach their homes, particularly in eastern and southern Gaza. Israeli vehicles also advanced into Tal al-Sultan, west of Rafah, demolishing homes and creating large holes in the ground.
Rescue teams recovered 22 bodies, including a couple killed in an airstrike last May, whose remains were found under rubble. The Gaza Ministry of Health reported 22 martyrs and 16 injuries in the past 24 hours, with many victims still trapped under debris.
The death toll from the Israeli aggression since 7 October 2023 has risen to 48,319 martyrs, with 111,749 injuries. The Ministry of Health emphasised that rescue teams are unable to reach many victims due to ongoing violence and destruction.
