Nine Days of Gaza's Struggle: Calls to Break the Blockade Intensify

The Palestinian Government Media Office in Gaza has issued a statement condemning the ongoing Israeli blockade, now in its tenth day. The blockade has led to severe shortages of water, food, and medical supplies, with over 2.4 million residents facing dire humanitarian conditions. Charitable organisations have ceased operations, and waste is piling up due to fuel restrictions, exacerbating the crisis.

The statement accuses Israeli leaders, including Prime Minister Netanyahu, of committing crimes against humanity by tightening the blockade and denying essential resources. It warns of an impending collapse of Gaza's health system, worsening living conditions, and the return of famine. The office describes the blockade as a deliberate act to "kill them slowly."

Palestinian authorities have called on Arab and Islamic nations to break the blockade and ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid. They urge the international community to reject the occupation's actions, hold Israeli leaders accountable, and take practical measures to alleviate the suffering in Gaza.
