Israel forced a Palestinian family in Jerusalem to demolish their home in Silwan, southern Al-Aqsa mosque, arguing that they do not have a building permit.

The family said that they started to implement the decision of self-home demolition to avoid the payment of 300,000 NIS.

They also mentioned that Israeli forces destroyed a part of their home two months ago. However, machines stopped, the municipality did not continue the process of demolition, and the forces imposed a financial penalty of 70,000 NIS as a demolition fare instead.
