For the 193rd consecutive day, Israeli forces have kept Tulkarm and its refugee camp under siege, with neighbouring Nur Shams camp enduring 168 days of relentless raids. The sustained assault has displaced more than 25,000 people, over 5,000 families, while more than 600 homes have been reduced to rubble and thousands more damaged.
Families from Nur Shams now face dire humanitarian conditions, with shortages of food, water, and shelter compounding the trauma of repeated forced displacement. The violence has already claimed 14 lives, including a child and two women, one eight months pregnant, and left dozens wounded or detained.
Local officials say the destruction and mass displacement are part of a systematic campaign to dismantle community life, erasing homes and livelihoods while deepening the suffering of an already vulnerable population.
