SAFA- Israeli occupation authorities on Monday forced a Palestinian man to dismantle his commercial shop in Izbat Shufa, southeast of Tulkarm, leaving him without his only source of income.
Local sources identified the man as Abd al-Fattah Abu Bakr and said Israeli forces ordered him to empty and dismantle his shop or face its demolition and heavy fines.
The measure came amid continued Israeli restrictions on Palestinian businesses and residents in the area.
The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission documented 2,256 attacks by Israeli forces and settlers across the West Bank in July, including 80 demolition operations that destroyed 165 structures, among them 88 homes.
The commission said Israeli forces also issued 34 additional demolition notices during the month.
During the first half of 2026, the commission documented 11,074 attacks by Israeli forces and settlers across the West Bank.
