Gaza’s Relentless Suffering: Israel’s Bombardment and Siege Enter 624th Day

Israeli forces have continued their devastating assault on Gaza for a 624th consecutive day, with Friday’s attacks killing at least 84 Palestinians, including 25 aid seekers in central Gaza. The death toll since October 2023 now stands at 55,706, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.

In northern Gaza, over 300,000 displaced civilians endure catastrophic conditions after 37 days of intensified Israeli operations. Entire neighborhoods, Beit Lahia, Jabalia, and Beit Hanoun, lie in ruins, with hospitals forcibly evacuated and homes demolished.

Recent strikes targeted Khan Younis, Gaza City, and Al-Nuseirat camp, while naval forces attacked fishermen off the coast. Seven civilians died in a tent bombing near Gaza City, and a child was killed in western Khan Younis.

As Israel tightens its siege, starvation and indiscriminate attacks persist, leaving Gaza’s survivors trapped in an unending humanitarian nightmare.
