Gaza Authorities: 450 Killed in Israeli-American ‘Aid Trap’ Scheme

Gaza’s Government Media Office has reported that 450 Palestinians have been killed and thousands more wounded while attempting to access food and humanitarian aid, labelling the system imposed by Israel and the United States as a deliberate "death trap."

According to the statement released on Sunday, 3,466 people have been injured and at least 39 remain missing after being targeted near so-called aid distribution points. What was presented to the world as humanitarian relief has, in the eyes of many Palestinians, become another weapon in a brutal war.

Since October 7, 2023, Gaza has endured an unrelenting military onslaught marked by mass displacement, starvation, and indiscriminate bombing. The death toll from the ongoing assault has surpassed 187,000, with the majority being women and children. Thousands more remain buried beneath rubble or lost without trace.

Despite multiple rulings by the International Court of Justice calling for an end to the violence, the campaign continues with full U.S. backing. As famine deepens and shelters turn into graveyards, Palestinians are left to confront not only bombs, but the lethal politics of starvation, a war tactic masquerading as aid.
