Settlers uproot hundreds of olive trees in Bethlehem

Israeli settlers uprooted hundreds of olive trees in the village of Kisan, east of Bethlehem, in the south of the West Bank, today.

The head of Kaysan village council, Saddam Abayat, told SAFA that settlers uprooted 250 olive seedlings, in the lands west of the village, belonging to Ayoub Yousef Abayat.

He added that olive seedlings were planted a week ago, and that settlers attacked and threatened to destroy them during their planting.

Meanwhile, the Israeli forces arrested a young man after surrounding his vehicle in Deir Baha area northwest of Hebron.
