Foreign Ministers Condemn Israel’s Gaza Occupation Plan

Foreign ministers from Australia, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom have jointly condemned Israel’s recent decision to launch a large-scale military operation aimed at occupying Gaza City. They warned that such plans risk breaching international humanitarian law and could further exacerbate the suffering of civilians in the war-torn territory.

The ministers also called on Israel to urgently amend its newly introduced registration system for international humanitarian organisations, which they say hampers the delivery of vital aid. They stressed the importance of ensuring that humanitarian access is not obstructed during ongoing conflict.

Reaffirming their commitment to a two-state solution achieved through negotiations, the foreign ministers urged Israel to pursue diplomatic channels rather than escalating military actions. Their statement underscores growing international concern over the humanitarian impact of Israel’s expanding operations in Gaza.
