Starvation Claims More Lives in Gaza as Siege Tightens

Gaza’s Health Ministry reported that 11 Palestinians, including children, died from starvation in the past 24 hours as Israel’s blockade and relentless bombardment deepen the humanitarian catastrophe. Officials warned that famine will escalate without an immediate ceasefire and the reopening of border crossings, with aid deliveries meeting less than five percent of the population’s urgent needs.

Hospitals are on the brink of collapse, crippled by months of attacks and chronic shortages. Over 12,000 patients require urgent treatment abroad, yet the siege leaves them trapped with no way to survive. Doctors speak of the agony of watching patients starve or waste away, unable to offer more than comfort in their final hours.

Each passing day under siege adds to Gaza’s death toll, where hunger has become as deadly as the bombs. The world’s inaction in the face of such preventable suffering leaves a haunting question: how many more must die before the blockade is broken?
