The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that an Israeli airstrike on a nearby house caused significant damage to the Al-Amal administrative complex in Khan Yunis on Friday morning. Windows were shattered and debris scattered throughout the offices, forcing a temporary closure of the facility.
Al-Amal Hospital, located nearby, has repeatedly suffered from shelling and demolitions in the surrounding area. These attacks have disrupted medical operations, putting patients’ lives at risk and hindering access to critical care.
Local officials warn that ongoing bombardments are making it increasingly difficult for essential services to operate safely. They are calling on international organisations to intervene and ensure protection for both medical and administrative facilities amid the escalation.
