Civil society groups in Gaza have warned that more than 15,000 patients require urgent medical evacuation as hospitals collapse under surging casualties and worsening conditions. Amjad Al-Shawa, director of the Gaza Civil Society Network, called on the international community to intervene immediately, including setting up field hospitals and providing critical medical aid.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health reports that since 7 October 2023, over 61,700 Palestinians have been killed and 154,900 injured, with more than 9,000 missing and hundreds of thousands displaced. Severe food shortages continue to put children and other vulnerable populations at grave risk.

Humanitarian and rights organisations have condemned Israel’s ongoing campaign in Gaza as “genocidal,” emphasising that the attacks show no sign of stopping despite repeated international appeals and guidance from the International Court of Justice.
