On 15 August 2025, Israeli occupation forces conducted widespread raids across the West Bank, arresting dozens of Palestinians, including young men, relatives of martyrs, and those connected to alleged operations. In Nablus, troops stormed the village of Duma, detaining five members of the Dawabsheh family, while Askar refugee camp and surrounding neighbourhoods were raided, homes ransacked, and residents arrested.
In Jenin, special forces surrounded a building near Ibn Sina Hospital, firing live ammunition as drones hovered overhead, arresting Mousa Torkman and Abdullah Sawafteh. In northern Ramallah, Jalazone refugee camp saw raids that left homes searched, vehicles vandalised, and two young men detained. Tulkarm and Qalqilya also witnessed multiple arrests, including three mothers of martyrs and relatives of alleged perpetrators in Baqat al-Hatab.
These raids continue a pattern of occupation tactics that target families, communities, and political activists across the West Bank, fuelling fear, displacement, and escalating tensions under the ongoing Israeli campaign of control.
