Calls Grow in Britain to Hold Herzog Accountable for Gaza Crimes

Israeli President Isaac Herzog’s planned visit to London has ignited a wave of criticism, with activists and human rights groups urging his arrest and an investigation into alleged war crimes committed in Gaza. Campaigners argue that his presence on British soil provides a rare opportunity to pursue accountability for violations that they say amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The International Center for Justice for Palestinians (ICJP) has formally requested that London police open an inquiry into Herzog, citing accusations of genocide, torture, and other serious breaches of international law.

The move reflects mounting political and public pressure in Britain to challenge unconditional support for Israel and ensure that those responsible for the ongoing devastation in Gaza are held to account.
