Gaza Hospitals Overwhelmed as 79 Killed in a Single Day of Relentless Bombardment

The humanitarian disaster in Gaza deepens by the hour, with hospitals reporting the arrival of 79 bodies in just the past 24 hours, among them children, women, and civilians struck down while waiting for aid. Hundreds more were injured as the bombardment of crowded streets and aid distribution points turned desperate queues for food into scenes of carnage.

Medical staff describe hospitals as places of unbearable suffering, where the wounded lie on bloodstained floors and the malnourished gasp for life-saving treatment that no longer exists. The largest medical facility, Al-Shifa, now operates at barely a fraction of its capacity, most of it reduced to rubble. In northern Gaza, not a single government hospital remains functional, leaving entire communities without care.

Doctors warn that nearly 650,000 people face the risk of death as famine tightens its grip, with the blockade choking off food, medicine, and vital supplies. With each passing day, the weight of loss grows heavier, and yet, against the collapse of infrastructure and the unyielding violence, people cling to the hope that the world will not continue to look away.
