Day 710: Gaza Faces Relentless Bombardment, Mass Displacement, and Widespread Casualties

On the 710th day of the conflict, Gaza continues to endure devastating attacks, leaving civilians dead, injured, and displaced amid widespread destruction. Israeli strikes in Gaza City alone killed at least 16 people this morning, including families targeted in their homes, while additional civilians perished in shelters and public buildings. Thousands remain trapped under rubble, buried in mass graves, or forcibly disappeared following abductions during the ground invasion.

Heavy bombardment continues across the Strip, with drone strikes, artillery shelling, and large-scale demolitions hitting residential neighborhoods, refugee camps, and displaced persons’ shelters. The Red Cross premises, among other humanitarian sites, were also struck, resulting in casualties, including children. The attacks have further worsened living conditions, as survivors struggle to access food, water, and medical care under a severe blockade.

The humanitarian situation in Gaza, ongoing for nearly two years, shows no relief, with civilians facing starvation, forced displacement, and the near-total destruction of essential infrastructure. With tens of thousands dead or injured, the civilian population continues to bear the brunt of an escalation that has rendered the territory nearly uninhabitable.
