“I decided to leave Israel because whoever opposes Zionism and fights for human rights is considered as a traitor,” Elenore Bronstein, a Jewish activist, said.

Elenore spent most of her life in Israel, and then left it with her husband and 3-year-old child to settle in Brussels.

“Activists are being threatened to be killed in Israel. The situation is getting worse, and we cannot stay here anymore,” she added.

She confirmed that Israeli educated and thinkers leave Israel because of the pressure they witness.

“When I saw the Israeli army teaching my child how to make a tank made of paper, I realized that I have to leave,” she said. “This is a normal scene in Israel, but I cannot let my child grow in this way in this city.”

She also confirmed that the Israeli government tries to deny the injustice they practice against the Palestinians in Israel.

“Netanyahu tries to show the Palestinians as the new Nazis,” she expressed.

Bronstein established De-Colonizer association with her husband. The association aims to introduce Al-Nakba, and to take part in events and stands that are in solidarity with Palestine.
