A fleet of more than fifty international ships has set sail from southern Italy, heading for Gaza in a show of global solidarity with the besieged population. The Global Resilience Flotilla aims to break the years-long blockade imposed on the Strip, delivering a clear humanitarian and political message that Gaza is not forgotten.

The flotilla, comprising activists, humanitarian workers, and civil society representatives from around the world, carries urgent aid and a message of resilience to over two million Palestinians facing famine, medical shortages, and ongoing violence. Organisers stressed that the initiative is both a moral call to the international community and a demonstration of popular determination to counter the occupation’s attempts to isolate Gaza.
