Data Confirms Overwhelming Majority of Gaza’s Dead Are Civilians

Fresh data has revealed that Israel’s war on Gaza is overwhelmingly directed at civilians, with more than 94% of the dead identified as non-combatants. Since October 2023, an estimated 61,100 out of 65,174 people killed were women, children, and ordinary men, laying bare the scale of the devastation.
The figures, drawn from independent conflict-monitoring research, expose a systematic pattern of targeting that cannot be dismissed as collateral damage. Entire neighbourhoods have been erased, families annihilated, and survivors left to bury their loved ones under the rubble. This aligns with internal Israeli military data, leaked last month, which admitted that the vast majority of those killed were civilians.
Such numbers stand as damning evidence of deliberate mass killings, widely condemned as acts of genocide. Rights groups and international observers stress that this reality imposes an urgent legal obligation on the global community to act, not with words of concern, but through concrete measures to hold Israel accountable and to put an end to the slaughter of defenceless civilians.
