Israeli Forces Accused of 80 Breaches Since Cease-Fire, Gaza Media Office Reports

The Gaza Government Media Office has stated that Israeli forces committed 80 violations of the cease-fire agreement that took effect in early October, resulting in 97 Palestinians killed and 230 wounded.
Of these 80 alleged breaches, 21 occurred on Sunday alone, the office said, as military vehicles, tanks, war-planes and drones were deployed across neighbourhoods and border edges.

According to the statement, the pattern of violations includes direct shootings of civilians, deliberate bombardments of residential and shelter-areas, arrests of civilians and extensive use of military hardware near populated zones. The office emphasised that the operations were documented across all governorates of the Gaza Strip, suggesting a territory-wide enforcement of the occupation’s policy despite the declared cessation of hostilities.

The media office urged the international community and the guarantors of the cease-fire to intervene immediately, warning that the continuation of such violations threatens not only the truce but the very survival of the civilian population under what it describes as the ongoing effects of a genocidal war.
