“Israeli forces conducted more than 24 raids into Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem and prevented the calls to prayer 46 times in the Ibrahimi mosque in Hebron, last December,” Islamic Waqf reported.

It stated that Israeli authorities continue their brutal policies against Al-Aqsa mosque; aiming to suffocate the worshipers, evacuate the mosque from the Palestinians, and to Judaize the city.

They imposed penal policy over the visitors of Al-Aqsa mosque and prevented thousands from performing their prayers inside, while they allowed the settlers to desecrate it and protect the so-called “organizations of Temple mount”.

“They continue putting plans aiming to Judaize Jerusalem, promote the Israeli story and build the biggest settlement tower in Jerusalem,” Islamic Waqf added.

During the last month, Israeli forces kept targeting the worshipers in the Golden Gate and preventing the sanitation workers from working in northern side of the building.

Last December witnessed the destruction of wall of Martyrs Cemetery near Lion’s Gate, paving the way to implement the plan of “Biblical garden”.

“Israel’s brutal policies prolonged Al-Aqsa mosque and the Ibrahimi mosque, churches, detentions, desecrations, and inflammations,” deputy of Islamic Waqf informed.

Hussam Abo Alrrab warned of the Israeli escalation against Jerusalem and its people, calling the Arab and Islamic societies to deal with the risks threatening the Palestinian existence in Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa mosque.

In the Ibrahimi mosque, Israel continue the same policy of preventing the implementation of prayers inside the mosque and limiting then numbers of worshipers during Friday prayer.
