Head of Detainees and Ex-detainees commission condemned the shameless crime of leaving the Palestinian prisoners preys to the coronavirus, committed by the Israeli government in Neveg prison.

Qadri Abo Baker stated that recording 31 COVID-19 cases since last Thursday until this morning refers to Israel's disrespect of the Palestinian prisoners inside the jails. Hence, this warns of a serious disaster in Neveg prison which has about 1200 prisoners inside, including patients and elderly people.

"The administration of Neveg prison is the only responsible of the coronavirus's arrival to the prison and its spread, emphasizing that the Israeli government will not run away from this horrible crime. And today, we are loudly talking about the shameful international silence which we pay its price through the health and life of out people," Abo Baker added.

Qadri Abo Baker called the international committee of the Red Crescent and the Global Health Organization to step in, end this crime, find real centers to isolate the patients, and to talk directly with the Israeli government regarding the prisoners. He also called them to release them and to prioritize them by giving them COVID 19 vaccination.
