France Accused of Fueling Israel’s Military Operations

A new report by the Palestinian Youth Movement and Urgence Palestine reveals that France has played a central role in supplying Israel with military equipment throughout the ongoing genocidal war in Gaza. Between October 2023 and March 2026, more than 525 shipments of military hardware, including avionics components, rifle and machine-gun ammunition parts, and armoured vehicle sensors, were sent from French manufacturers to Israeli defence industries.

The deliveries were primarily transported on flights operated by Israeli airline El Al, while French authorities also approved critical transits. Between April and October 2025, over 117 fighter jet parts were allowed to pass through Paris’s Roissy – Charles-de-Gaulle airport, facilitating Israel’s military operations in Gaza. The report sharply contradicts previous denials by former French Defence Minister Sébastien Lecornu, who claimed in June 2025 that no French arms were sold to Israel.

Activists argue that France’s involvement could expose it to accusations of complicity in genocidal actions, highlighting the international dimension of the Gaza crisis. The findings underscore the significant contribution of French industry and regulatory approval to Israel’s war capacity, even as civilian casualties in Gaza continue to rise.
