Three Injured, Including Child, During Raid in Ramallah Neighbourhood

Three Palestinians, including a child, were injured on Thursday after Israeli forces carried out a raid in the Umm al-Sharayet neighbourhood, south of Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank. The incursion unfolded amid heightened tensions linked to the ongoing genocidal war, with residents reporting a sudden deployment of troops into the densely populated area.

Medical teams responded to the scene and treated the injured, who suffered from rubber-coated bullets and severe tear gas inhalation. Among them was a child, raising renewed concern over the impact of such operations on civilians in residential districts. Witnesses described the widespread use of gas, which quickly spread through the streets and into nearby homes.

The raid forms part of a broader pattern of intensified military activity across the West Bank, where similar incursions have become increasingly frequent since the escalation of the genocidal war in Gaza. These operations have contributed to a growing number of injuries and arrests, deepening the sense of insecurity among local communities already facing mounting pressure.

For many residents, such incidents underline the daily risks faced far beyond Gaza itself, as the repercussions of the genocidal war continue to reverberate across Palestinian areas. The presence of armed forces in civilian neighbourhoods, coupled with the use of force in confined urban spaces, has further strained an already volatile situation.
