Gaza Strip Reports Multiple Strikes Across North, Central and Southern Areas

At least several civilians have been injured following a series of aerial strikes and heavy fire across the Gaza Strip, with residential zones, displacement shelters and coastal areas affected by ongoing Israeli military operations linked to what local officials describe as a genocidal war in breach of the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on 10 October last year.

In the north of Gaza City, people were wounded in a strike near Baghdad Mosque in the Shati refugee camp. In central Gaza, an airstrike hit a tented area close to Al-Ezz School in the vicinity of Nuseirat camp, where displaced families had been sheltering. Witnesses also reported naval gunfire directed towards the city’s coastline, alongside demolition operations carried out in the north-eastern sector of Gaza City.

Further south, a drone strike targeted the area around Bani Suhaila roundabout east of Khan Younis. Medical authorities have also reiterated that the cumulative toll of the genocidal war since 7 October 2023 has risen to 72,344 people killed and 172,242 injured, adding that thousands remain trapped under rubble or in inaccessible streets where rescue teams are unable to reach them.
