Shati Camp Strike Injures Civilians as Gaza Faces Renewed Air Raids and Demolitions Across Multiple Areas

Civilians have been injured following an airstrike near Baghdad Mosque in the Shati refugee camp in northern Gaza City, where residential surroundings were hit during a continued wave of attacks across the territory. The area remains under sustained pressure as parts of the city experience repeated targeting linked to what local officials describe as a genocidal war.

In central Gaza, a strike hit a tented shelter close to Al-Ezz School in the vicinity of Nuseirat camp, where displaced families were staying. Further reports indicated naval fire directed towards Gaza City’s coastline, alongside demolition operations carried out in the north-eastern part of the city, contributing to further destruction of already heavily damaged urban areas.

In the south, a drone strike targeted the area around Bani Suhaila roundabout east of Khan Younis. Health authorities state that since 7 October 2023, the toll has reached 72,344 people killed and 172,242 injured, with thousands still believed to be trapped under rubble or in streets where emergency teams are unable to reach them.
