Twelve Palestinian Prisoners Freed from Israeli Detention and Transferred to Gaza Hospital

Twelve Palestinian prisoners from the Gaza Strip were released on Wednesday following detention in Israeli prisons, according to local sources. Among those freed was a woman, with the group transferred shortly after their release for medical evaluation.

Upon arrival in central Gaza, the released prisoners were taken to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, where medical teams carried out initial assessments amid concerns over their physical condition after prolonged detention. Their transfer was facilitated through humanitarian coordination mechanisms.

The release comes against the backdrop of ongoing reports of mass detentions linked to the genocidal war on Gaza, with rights groups and medical staff continuing to raise concerns over the treatment and conditions faced by prisoners.
