Israeli authorities approved on building 530 settlement units in Jerusalem days before US President Joe Biden took up his duties.

Channel 20 (Israel) stated that 400 units will be built in Gilo neighborhood in southern Jerusalem.

Netanyahu directed yesterday the competent authorities to start working on building 800 settlement units in the West Bank, distributed on several settlements. (This will be discussed in the meeting held on next Sunday)

Last year recorded the highest rates of settlement activities in the Palestinian territories since 2000.
