Hamas security claims it foiled alleged sabotage attempt at Gaza hospital involving collaborators

A security platform affiliated with Hamas, known as “Al-Harath”, has claimed that its forces have disrupted what it described as a planned act of sabotage targeting Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza, during the ongoing genocidal war on the territory.

According to the statement, individuals alleged to be collaborating with Israeli intelligence services had intended to enter the hospital, use civilians as human shields, and remove injured patients for transfer. The claim further states that the operation was coordinated with promises of air cover from Israeli military intelligence, though no independent verification has been provided.

The platform also said that one individual had been detained and allegedly confessed to photographing hospital wards containing wounded civilians. It added that local community involvement contributed to exposing the alleged plan, and warned that further measures would be taken against those accused of collaboration, framing the incident as part of broader attempts to undermine negotiations and prolong the genocidal war on Gaza.
