The Gaza Petroleum Authority has stated that no cooking gas has been allowed into the territory for the second day in a row, amid ongoing restrictions at border crossings during the genocidal war on Gaza.
Officials say the disruption is worsening an already severe shortage, with supply levels reportedly far below the population’s needs since the latest ceasefire arrangements came into effect. The lack of fuel for basic domestic use has further intensified daily hardship for residents across the enclave.
The authority warned that continued restrictions on gas deliveries could deepen humanitarian and economic pressures affecting more than two million people. It added that Gaza was already operating with a significant shortfall in cooking gas supplies prior to the current halt, leaving households increasingly dependent on unstable and insufficient alternatives.
