Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu instructed his authorities to approve the construction of 800 settlement units in the West Bank, including Jerusalem.

The Hebrew Channel "Kan 11" stated that the approval came prior to the inauguration of Joe Biden as President of the United States.

It pointed out that approval will be made for the construction of 500 settlement units in "Itamar" settlements east of Nablus, "Beit El" north of Ramallah, "Shafi Shomron" west of Nablus, "Oranit" near Qalqilya, and "Pisgat Zeev" north of Jerusalem.

It also added that an approval will also be made to build about 250 settlement units in an outpost called "Novi Nkhamia".
